www.nme.com/news/ozzy-osbourne/48951 Ozzy Osbourne has announced he will release a new album next summer.
The former Black Sabbath frontman's next record 'Soul Sucka' is slated to come out in June, and songs confirmed for inclusion are 'Let It Die', 'Diggin' Me Down' and the title track.
The album, produced by Osbourne and Kevin Churko, will be the first to feature new guitarist Gus G. Soul Sucka? ;D

I hope it's better than Black Rain. So, if a new album is coming out, does that mean he's going to be touring?? I sure hope so!! Can't wait!!

It should be better than Black Rain, that is, if Gus brings some good shit to the table. The Ozzy/Zakk combo was getting stale and I have very high hopes for this record, and I hope they will change the album title.

I'm hoping they change that title too... I mean, c'mon Ozz! That sounds like something a rap record would be titled! Regardless though, I'll buy any special edition copies or anything that come out for it, just like I did for Black Rain. And yes, Freako, that means he'll be touring!! I hope to see him twice on his next tour through.

I cringed when I read the title. I hope someone changes that up. But I am excited for it just so I can see him again on tour. I stopped getting my hopes up for his new stuff. Nothing will ever beat his old stuff.

we got some good news:
Ozzy Osbourne has scrapped "Soul Sucka" as the working title of his new solo album. "When we put that on the Internet none of my fan base liked the title," Osbourne tells RollingStone.com. "They were like, 'I can't imagine me walking around the fucking house with the words 'Soul Sucka' on my T-shirt.' So I was like, 'Fuck it. I've got to come up with something else!'" The now-untitled set is due out in July, the same month Osbourne says that Ozzfest will return after a one-year break. "After Ozzfest I'm doing the most extensive tour of my life," he says. "It'll be something like, 3,025 dates."
Ozzy's next album, his first since 2007's "Black Rain", will include such songs as "Let It Die" and "Diggin' Me Down" and "Soul Sucka". The record will be the first to feature Ozzy's new guitarist, Greek native Gus G., who replaced longtime axeman Zakk Wylde in Ozzy's band last year.
"People are going to say, 'Oh, you're falling out with Zakk,'" Ozzy tells RollingStone.com. "No, I haven't fallen out with Zakk. I mean, he does need me anymore, Zakk. He actually has his own fucking thing, you know. I knew I had to get another guitar player for a while. I just kept putting it off and putting it off."
"Black Rain" was certified gold on December 14, 2007 by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of 500,000 copies in the United States.
"Black Rain" was reissued on November 20, 2007 as a "Special Limited-Edition Tour Package" featuring a bonus CD of live tracks and B-sides. The bonus CD includes the following cuts:
01. I Don't Wanna Stop (live) 02. Not Going Away (live) 03. Here For You (live) 04. Nightmare 05. Can't Save You 06. Love To Hate
"Black Rain" debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard album chart, with first-week sales of 152,000 copies.

Was just about you post that, Ross.
I knew he would change the title, and I'm glad.
Can't wait for all this! As I said in another thread, this is going to be a great year for Ozzy! New album, new DVD, Ozzfest, another tour. Holy fuck, I can't wait for it all!
