ozzgod I can't figure this out at all, here they opened 11,000 seats and not one stitch of advertising ? I keep looking at ticket-master and from what I can see they have sold around 4,500 seats......like with no effort. I'll have the correct numbers and my review, Fuck the paper ( it would be some 25 year old kid reviewing anyway...) on Monday the 19 Th No Matter for me it will just plain Great. I like personal concerts like what Alice Copper has been doing they are just great

I don't get it either, Sunny... I mean, this is a big deal... Sabbath... the Mob Rules line-up... come on... the only news/advertizing that I get about this is from the internet... nothing in other mainstream media... Ticketmaster went on sale at 10:00 this morning with tickets to the show I'm going to... they also had tickets for V.I.P. parking on sale... at 10:05 a.m. I bought two of those VIP parking passes... ;D this is gonna kick ass...

from blabbermouth.net
A low-quality video clip of HEAVEN AND HELL performing the song "After All (The Dead)" at the opening night of the band's world tour Sunday night (March 11) at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada has been posted online at YouTube.com. The group — which is made up of BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler, singer Ronnie James Dio, and drummer Vinny Appice (BLACK SABBATH, DIO) — played the following songs at the Vancouver gig:
01. E5150 02. After All (The Dead) 03. The Mob Rules 04. Children of The Sea 05. Lady Evil 06. Ear In The Wall 07. I 08. The Sign of The Southern Cross 09. Voodoo 10. The Devil Cried 11. Vinny Appice Solo 12. Computer God 13. Falling Off The Edge of The World 14. Shadow of The Wind 15. Die Young 16. Heaven and Hell --------------------- 17. Neon Knights
Check out pictures from the show at Metal-Rules.com.
According to several people that attended the concert, Dio announced towards the end of the band's performance that the show would be cut short due to a curfew, resulting in one of the two planned encores — "Lonely is the Word" — getting dropped from the final setlist.

thanks for the links, Sunny... they're great...
I liked this part: "Some working-class kids I talked to were conversely caught unaware, happy enough with opener Megadeth’s basically stunning performance; wondering later on where The Wizard had snuck off to. But then there were all the old heads, the north-side guys, so many seemingly alone. Hair hanging down defiantly. Coming to see Dio. Alone. How many of their old friends were long past the point where they’d shell out 60 bucks for Dio – either due to death or marriage." and I 'm SO looking forward to this: "...musical co-ordination that made my ears hope for virgin blood as breasty girls rode waves of pot smoke up to scolding security guards." have fun tomorrow, Sunny... I envy you right now...
write us good review...
don't forget the pictures...

Aw Fuck Man I'm really pumped now ! I won't lose the cam there though ( sorry ) actually I find the flash bulbs going off in their faces to be a pain and I'm right up front with security so I couldn't get the shots I would like. I have two friends that are going to see what they can take if they are any good I'll see if I can get them. Yes the first quote did it for me, Ah Canada "The Pot Smoke" no bother with that they just leave you all alone much better than shits trying to bring glass bottles of booze in ..... you will lose on that note. I think I will do a **Super Happy Naked Snoopy Dance** Us Old Heads need to stick together Peace and Love

the following post was made on Joe Siegler's Black Sabbath board... There are 9 unconfirmed dates in the following list, which as far as I could find are not yet posted here (not even in the "unconfirmed dates" section". These come from www.yellowdrums.de which is the site of the drum technician of the current tour, and the guy has been touring with Dio for several years now. So this is pretty much first hand information - but I repeat, unconfirmed.

All I can say is WOW what a show, Down didn't do anything for me, Megadeth all though I don't follow them were stellar, they kicked major ass, Mustang I must say for all his battles in life looks like he is still 24.....I can't say the same ( high light my Daughter caught one of his picks, very cool for Her ) the pit was insane with them onstage I was right in front for all three acts, if you are planning to attend this is the only way to enjoy this kind of show. Now the "Black Sabbath Version two show" just fantastic, stage was very goth cool, Geezer on Ronnie's right Tony to his left, Vinnie right behind. They were Rock solid period. Was just a huge pleasure to see from 15 feet away ( security barriers are needed ) Geezer hammering his bass, one incredible player I must say, Tony was himself doesn't move much just works that fret board with magic and it was just that unreal.....Vinnie was note perfect, the drum solo was far from the twenty minute filler, not needed perhaps three minutes of sheer players display and he was done. The point was proven the man can play. Ronnie I tell you his voice is Heaven He can sing and did he ever, no need for big pyro distractions the show was about four gents that are complete talents, there was of course some fog to fit the scene some really nicely done lights and those amps.......the bass pounded right through your entire body, I have seen many many shows and the sound mixing was excellent I didn't have that harmonic ting in my ears at all, you could every note from all four members. The set list is wicked, the crowd was teens right up to Hippie seniors, very cool. The climax had to be the extended version of Heaven and Hell, it just ripped the place apart, Ronnie never stopped at all, talking singing, nice to see that He knew what City he was playing in, a very personal man. I have no voice and my lower back aches from standing on concrete for hours but it was the only way to see this legend line up. I wouldn't have had it any other way.
I will say no more if the show is in your City GO, if it's a drive GO, you will not be disappointed. The Best Concert Value I have had in years no rip off here.
Plenty of shirts for sale both Megadeth and Heaven and Hell, no programs perhaps there will be later in the tour when there is some photos, I don't know, if they do come to avail I will be pleased to purchase one from whoever can get me, as I collect them.
Sunny needs some sleep this work stuff gets in the way
***** Show, yes I'm biased.
Plenty of Lettuce being burned, just adds to that wonderful atmosphere
7,500 Approximate attendance
